As the Operations Manager, reporting directly to our General Manager. You will be responsible for daily operations, project status, and profitability

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee Daily Operations: Direct ongoing business activities, manage workflows, and remove bottlenecks across departments.
  • Manage Budgets & Finances: Monitor financial performance, handle cost control, and analyze budgets to maximize profitability.
  • Lead and Mentor Teams: Supervise staff, coordinate training programs, and foster a productive work environment.
  • Track Performance Metrics: Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to evaluate performance and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure Compliance: Maintain adherence to safety regulations, industry standards, and internal company policies

Qualifications & Experience

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, or Electrical) or degree in business administration, supply chain
  • 5+ years of experience in management, operations, or senior supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing, and industrial automation.
  • Capability to motivate cross-functional teams, resolve conflicts, communicate instructions clearly, Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in tracking data, financial budgeting, and using ERP system
  • Ability to read electrical, mechanical drawings and understand industrial control systems.

Physical & Safety Tasks

All applicants must be able to perform the following tasks as part of their player-coach operational responsibilities:

  • Walk up to 5 km per day during manufacturing floor oversight and plant walkthroughs.
  • Stand and work at heights or navigate tight operational environments when required.
  • React quickly to visual and auditory factory alerts.
  • Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) including safety footwear, safety eyewear, vests, and high-visibility gear during site visits.

  • USD $105,000 – $140,000
